Experience high speed thrills, the world's largest sea cave, extraordinary sea and bird life, fascinating Maori history and amazing scenery. Cave Rider is a two and a half hour open ocean jet-boat ride to the Poor Knights Islands, a scenic wonderland of caves, arches, tunnels and soaring cliffs.

The boat ride is mild adventure, the excursion a scenic eco-tour with commentary covering the tragic and fascinating Maori history, and the unique history of this reserve. Truly a natural history wonderland set in absolutely breathtaking scenery.

Trips depart Tutukaka Marina twice daily. Seats are limited to 25 so bookings are essential.
