Spellbound is Waitomo's newest glow-worm and cave tour, departing from Waitomo village in groups of no more than 12 people.
The spellbound glow-worm cave is an unrivalled glow-worm display viewed from a gently gliding raft. You will have close up views and 40 minutes under glow-worms
From the glow-worm cave you will proceed to Te Ana o te Atua (Cave of the Spirit). A scenic gorge walk brings you to the impressive natural entrance of Te Ana o te Atua. A cave containing evidence of extinct NZ birds and past explorers.
Photography is allowed in both caves, the tour includes tea/coffee/biscuits.
This is a gentle tour and is suitable for most people.
