Connect with the real New Zealand during your breathtaking 3-hour Seal Coast Safari! Stories abound as we drive for 20 rugged kilometres along the beach, around the bays and headlands, to Tongue Point - home to a colony of New Zealand fur seals.
Tea or coffee with a gourmet muffin is enjoyed with the seals as you take in the beauty of the natural habitat they live in, experiencing the crashing waves and the famous Leaning Lighthouse.
To get to the seals we travel in our 4WD vehicles to the Brooklyn Wind Turbine, along a fault-line and through the hills of a farm which we have exclusive access to. Here you can see goats, ostriches and wild horses! Youll be amazed by the spectacular views of the city, the Pacific and Tasman Oceans and the distant mountain ranges of the South Island.
You will be absolutely delighted by this tour, especially at how close they can actually get to the seals! Tours leave twice daily from Wellington Visitor Information Centre, bookings essential.
