Step back in time to the romance of yesteryear, on the tall ship "R.Tucker Thompson" and explore the Bay of Islands as Captain Cook did. The R.Tucker Thompson provides an interactive experience where you can help sail the ship, by setting the sails and taking the helm, or ride the bowsprit, climb the rigging, then swing off the rope for a lunch time swim.

Day sail includes morning tea, island stopover for lunch and a delicious barbecue cooked on board. The ship is spacious and comfortable and the friendly crew will make you feel at home, sharing tall tales about past voyages as you experience the awesome feeling of the wind filling the sails.

Many visitors describe it as "the best day of our holiday". Quite simply the nicest way to see the Bay.

The R.Tucker Thompson caters for up to 45 guests on board and is available for sunset ceremonies or full day event. Hold your service on board anchored in one of the beautiful bays in the Bay of Islands or out from the historic village of Russell.
