Shearing South

Shearing South is a new and exciting Interpretive Centre devoted to the culture, stories, passion and language of New Zealand shearing.

Visitors receive an entertaining and informative guided tour throughout our shearing complex. At the conclusion of the tour you will have an excellent understanding of the shearing industry and its importance to the New Zealand farming sector, and country as a whole.

The establishment offer two new tours, incorporating Shearing South, as well as a visit to a real shearing shed and working sheep farm. This is a unique package, unavailable anywhere else in the world. It's an interactive experience with activities, education and entertainment for all ages.
