Flame Bar & Grill is a South African style steakhouse set overlooking Lake Wakatipu in Queenstown. The team aim to provide you with exceptional service, quality food and a happy and exciting environment.

The South African inspired menu, tastes and flavours, together with New Zealands finest beef, gives Flame steak its unique taste and flavour.

Owned and operated by South African trio Dawn Sneddon, Grant Sneddon and Colin Russel, all long time residents of New Zealand, Flame brought a new style of food and dining to the Queenstown restaurant scene.

Recently dined at Flame with a large group of friends and the food was absolutely delicious. All meals came out on time and were perfectly cooked. The waitress, unsure of her name, had a great sense of humour and coped with our eccentricities like a pro, even wearing our tartan 'talking hat' whenever she spoke to us ...
