Formerly a sailors retreat, Designer Cottage is a unique B&B set just off Colombo St, in peaceful surroundings opposite Sydenham Park.

We offer a variety of rooms, which are all tastefully decorated, including share facilities, private room with ensuite and a self-contained cottage.

Your friendly host, Chet, has an honours degree in Landscape Architecture and is passionate about traditional buildings and his landscaping ideas.

Designer Cottage is one of his finest collections of the charms of yesterday and all guests are welcome to view the 'Designer Village' and hear his stories about the cottage.
