Mana Island Sailing Adventures

Mana Island Sailing Adventures provide a unique skippered sailing experience in the comfort and safety of an 11 metre steel yacht. The yacht "Paikea" is a Roberts 345, originally certified by Yachting New Zealand for ocean passage making. It now operates under Maritime New Zealand survey for charter work in the Cook Strait area and Marlborough Sounds, including D'Urville Island. As such it meets the rigorous safety standards required by the New Zealand Government for inshore passenger carriage.

Paikea operates out of Mana Marina - a convenient 30 minute drive from the Wellington central business district. Mana Marina is on the main trunk north. Public transport (bus and rail) runs at regular intervals along this route and takes travellers to within a few minutes walk of the Marina. Parking in the Marina is readily available and free.
