Enjoy a stroll through Westport with a friendly knowledgeable guide and learn about the West Coast Gold Rush of the 1860's , and the courageous people who lived in this wild landscape. The tour visits several of our most important landmarks and historic buildings and takes about 60 minutes.

Our small tour groups make it easy for you to talk freely with the guide and go at your own pace.

Tours depart from outside Gibby's Cafe at the intersection of Brougham & Palmerston Street. Free car parking is available behind the cafe on Adderley Street. The Westport Tour is an access for all, wheelchair friendly activity.

Info for Disabled: Westport is ideal for those travelling with wheel chairs as it is completely flat, has quiet streets, and good ramps on the street curbs. Public Toilets with good access are also available on Palmerston Street and Russell Street.
