Berkenhoff Lodge is a quiet retreat away from the busy centre of Taupo. It is a 15 minute walk to town or 5 minutes by car to the city centre. We do offer a free bus pick up and drop off service.

We have a lovely comfortable hostel with a homely feel to it. We have the best backpackers kitchen with a large dining room. TV Lounge if you want to watch a DVD. Pool tables, darts in the bar area. If you want to unwind in the spa pool or relax in the garden area or take a dip in the swimming pool.

Most of our rooms are ensuite. We have helpful staff if you want any activities booked. We are the closest hostel to the Huka Falls walkway and on your return you may like to jump into the Hot Water Spring a must for all travellers.
