Founder /Owner Monica Moriyasu has very definite ideas of what constitutes a good Fine Art and Craft Gallery. In monmo Gallery, she has created a space that is warm, welcoming and full of the highest quality of work she could find from throughout New Zealand.

The amazing selection of work in the gallery is what distinguishes it from others in the area. Everything from beautifully turned wood bowls, fabulous felted garments, avante-garde greenstone carvings, bronze statues, and glass sculptures to Fine Furniture by some of New Zealand's best.

The gallery features Toi iho artist Paul Bradford, Glass/multi-media designer Garth Dobney, Fine furniture builders Hans Herleth and Jimu Grimmett, and Northland bone carvers Ken and Candy Kay to name a few.

The Gallery runs a framing and digital printing department where they specialise in framing fine art prints and printing photos onto canvas.
