New Plymouth Airport

New Plymouth airport is located on the west coast of New Zealand's North Island and serves the city of New Plymouth and the surrounding region of Taranaki. It is located on Airport Drive, Bell Block approximately 12 kilometres (15 minutes) from the centre of New Plymouth and 4 km from the outer suburb/satellite town of Bell Block.

Air New Zealand Link provides regular direct daily flights into New Plymouth from Auckland (45 minutes) and Wellington (50 minutes). Flights from Hamilton (75 minutes), Tauranga (80 minutes), Rotorua (85 minutes) and Taupo (90 minutes) are routed via Auckland and flights from Palmerston North (85 minutes) come via Wellington.

The airport has commercial as well as general aviation facilities for private planes and helicopters, including hangers and refuelling services (BP/Mobil). Onsite facilities include short and long term paid parking, cafe, rental car operators, taxis and shuttles.
