Location: The Peninsula operates as a small farm. Sheep graze the pasture amongst the apple trees, ducks live on the large pond and mature fruit and nut trees surround the house. You will see a wide range of wild birdlife at The Peninsula including many species of wading birds on the estuary and for this reason the property does not have any dogs or cats .
Things to do: The Peninsula is a short drive down the quiet, no-exit country road on Hoddy Peninsula. The Peninsula is within 5 minutes drive of Rabbit Island, an Island which separates the Waimea Estuary from Tasman Bay. The ocean side of the Island provides over 8 km of beautiful clean sandy beach and is popular for walking and swimming. The Peninsula is surrounded by orchards, vineyards; artist's studio's and farms.
