Adventure Headquarters is the only guiding, transport and equipment service based on the slopes of Mt Tongariro - making it a perfect base for anyone planning on walking the Tongariro Alpine Crossing.

Guiding services include transport from Adventure Headquarters, and are with experienced qualified guides. Adventures include the Tongariro Alpine Crossing (New Zealand's best one day alpine trek) and the Mt Ruapehu Crater Trek.

Ski and board hire is available from Adventure Headquarters, with a comprehensive range of skis, boards, boots and clothing available.

There is also a retail shop for all your alpine equipment needs, and a workshop to get your skis and boards tuned for the mountain.
