Hanmer Springs Ski Area is a club field run by the Amuri Ski Club. It is located approximately 40 minutes from the alpine resort town of Hanmer Springs, making it a great winter escape!

Hanmer Ski Area consists of 10% Beginner, 60% Intermediate and 30% Advanced slopes - and is a great family ski area with endless fun to be found.

Access to the runs is via a poma lift and two rope tows.

Accommodation is available on the mountain at Robinson Lodge.

Getting There: Hanmer Springs Ski Area is 17 km from Hanmer Springs, 155 km from Christchurch and 155 km from Kaikoura. Follow Clarence Valley road out of Hanmer Springs. The turn off from Clarence Valley road to the ski area is at St James Station, about ten kilometres from Hanmer Springs. The access road is a short but narrow gravel road - chains should be carried. Car parks are located just below the Lodges.
