Whangarei's Endless Summer Festival

Whangarei's Endless Summer Festival is jam-packed with summertime fun, celebrating the tropical region of Whangarei.

A number of events take place during February and March, all geared towards summertime fun! Garden events include the Whangarei Discovery weekend, with self-drive garden trails, guided bus tours and a sculpture and garden art exhibition at Whangarei's Quarry Gardens.

Open Air Cinema is a highlight of the festival. This year Taika Waititi's hit film Eagle vs Shark is being screened. Opera fans can also catch Opera in the Garden, performed by Opera North.

Sporting fanatics are also catered for with the Twin Coast Mizone Cylce Challenge and the Beach2Basin Run/Walk.
