The Works

The Works Café Restaurant is situated in the historic Gisborne Freezing Works building, beside the Port of Gisborne. Beautifully restored, The Works Café Restaurant is contained within the old "Sausage Factory", directly opposite the port. Enjoy the brick work interior or dine outside under a grapevine canopy.

The Works is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with a menu featuring the finest fresh produce and seafood. There is also an extensive wine list to choose from - with local vineyard Goldenvines Estate also located in the Freezing Works building.
