The lodge combines the character and structural elements of the original pole house with a contemporary New Zealand flair. Set in a private 2 hectare property, native birds -the tui and bellbird - flock to feed on the native plants while nearby native bush walks complete the scene. Acacia Cliffs Lodge accommodates no more than eight guests in four luxurious ensuite rooms - all of which have been designed to ensure your privacy and comfort and to take full advantage of the breathtaking views and location. All rooms have internet access, TV,DVD,CD, mini-bar and tea & coffee making facilities. Mountain bikes and scooters are available to explore Lake Taupo and the Central Volcanic Plateau - the jewel of the North Island.
