Akaroa Boat Hire & Sea Kayaks

Akaroa Boat hire and sea kayaks is a Department of Conservation certified marine mammel tourist operater. Hire sea kayaks and "see nature the natural way" the most eco friendly way to see the stunning Akaroa Harbour. We have both freedom hires ($30pp 1/2 day, $50pp full day) and guided tours ($70 pp).

In summer months it is very likely you will encounter Hectors Dolphins on your adventure, the worlds smallest and rarest dolphin. Our staff will advise you how to behave around these unique creatures.

We also have a huge range of other water craft, including, canoes, paddle boats, water bikes and motor boats. Something for the whole family.

Boating is a very weather dependant activty. We recommend you call us the evening before you wish go boating with us, so we can advise of the weater contidions. Safety is our first priority. We operate most days over the busy holiday seasons. All year round avaliabilty for kayaks. BOOKINGS ESSENTIAL
