Situated in Mapua, just a stone's throw from the sea in the beautiful Tasman district of the South Island, Laughing Fish Studio, owned and operated by Shona McLean and Martin Lindley, is a ceramics and art studio exhibiting a diverse range of bright and beautiful watercolour paintings, prints, and ceramics.

Shona is an award winning illustrator who began her career as an illustrator/cartoonist in Sydney, Australia, supplying newspapers, magazines and ad agencies with her humorous and distinctive drawings.

Shona and Martin are more than happy to discuss any particular requirements you may have, and commissions for illustrating, original paintings, or ceramics, are always welcome.
