Lake Taupo is the largest freshwater lake in Australasia. Its water is so clean a few zillion trout call it home. It's a great lake with an even greater choice of adventures. The dramatic beauty of the volcanic landscape provides a grand backdrop to this playground for fishing, sailing and water sports. Hot springs and geothermal wonders abound throughout the region.
