Baylys Beach extends 100km from Maunganui Bluff in the north to Pouto Point at the entrance to the Kaipara Harbour in the south. Just 15 minutes from Dargaville, Baylys Beach is the longest driveable beach in New Zealand.

Visit the remote Pouto Lighthouse and view the site of 150 shipwrecks, dig for tuatua or cast a fishing net. Alternatively you can experience Baylys Beach on horseback.
