Waitakere City is a vibrant area west of Auckland that is home to many artists and boasts many natural wonders. Visitors can explore the myriad art studios or visit the historic vineyards and experience the wonder of the Arataki Environment and Heritage Centre on Scenic Drive.

There are plenty of activities available in the Waitakere City region including exploring the wineries, their restaurants and gardens around Henderson, perhaps a picnic and walk in Centennial Memorial Park in the Waitakere Ranges, enjoy the waterfalls and lookouts on the drive from Titirangi to Swanson, swim, surf and relax at Piha Beach or Bethalls Beach or maybe visit the Arataki Visitor's Centre at Titirangi.
